"Joy comes to us in ordinary moments. We risk missing out on joy when we get too busy chasing down the extraordinary.”
~ Brené Brown
Simona captures your everyday because she believes it is extraordinary. And a powerful way to tell your story. She uses photography to do this because to her a great still is magical and timeless. Her expertise lies in knowing which moments to capture and how. And after many years of editing thousands of images, she has also developed a skill for identifying 'the keepers' and crafting them into artwork. Happiness for her is handing her client a print of a moment she has captured for them and watching their emotions unfold.
Simona studied Photography at the University of Arts London in 2007 and has worked professionally ever since. Highlights have included capturing Joanna Lumley, a feature in The Independent and learning to find her own photographic style. Her clients range from big corporations (BP, The Big Lottery Fund, American Express) to small business and charities. Now she is also commissioned to capture family portraits through her Day In Your Life work.
Simona also teaches photography from complete beginners to advanced students looking to improve their flash work. To her the camera is just a tool and believes a great photo is crafted by the creativity of the photographer not the equipment.
If you have any questions about her work or photography in general she would love to hear from you.
Thank you to Georgina Thomason for capturing this portrait.
